How does he change so QUICK??

I just can't keep up with how quickly he is growing, sometimes I look at him and I can see that he has grown taller!! He is such a big boy and he tells me all of the time now "I do it all myself"!! I think he is trying to tell me he doesn't need my help anymore, and I am not ready to hear that so I just keep trying to help!!!

Brayden is truly enjoying daycare at this time!! He gets excited to see his friends and talks about them all the time!! He comes home from school and talks about what him and his friends did at school today!! It is so funny to me to hear his stories and know they really happened. He told us the other day that when his playroom was finished in the basement he was going to have his friends over to his house to play with all of his toys!! At daycare they do lots of fun things with the 3 year olds including walks to the schools parks, walks for a snack, swim day, field trips, and anything else that comes to their minds!!

At the park is also a little dare-devil, he tries walking down the slide, climbing anything and everything, and hanging on the rings!!

 

He can tell quite a STORY!!

Well, it's nothing new that Brayden can talk me into just about anything, well anything but specific clothes up till this point. He gets to help pick out shoes and pajamas now, and I will keep pushing for this!! But Friday I got home from work and there was a note from daycare that said they would have swimming day once a week and we needed to bring a towel, swim trunks, and shoes for the water!! I was so excited to talk to Brayden about this!! When I asked him if he was excited I got the run around!! He said "Well mommy I can't go to swim day at school cause I don't have Spiderman swim trunks." "really I said, I didn't know this was a problem". He says "mommy my friends and me all need to have these to swim"!! This was a very dramatic conversation and he was definitely counting on me to take care of this problem quickly!! Which I did!!! I couldn't bare the fact that he thought it was so important and he didn't have it!! I found some luckily and disaster averted!!! I wish everyone could of seen his face when I gave them to him. Let the fun begin!!!

Brayden's new thing is he loves to walk or ride around the block, to the pond, and to the bridge!! He could do this as many times as his shoes can handle!! We can't even get him on his bike to try and pedal!! He prefers to use his feet and push himself along!! I can't complain because it exerts some energy too!! He also likes to walk through the empty lots that haven't been mowed. He looks for snakes, spiders and crocodiles!!! Luckily he hasn't found any of them yet!!

BOYS, boys, BOYS!!!

Well this little guy is keeping me going, and getting me a good tan!! He loves water, any kind of water, just water!! Sprinklers, hoses, pools, squirt guns, he will take any of it!!

 

We were driving home today and I was trying to tell him something and he put the car seat around his ears and said "Mommy I can't hear you"!! REALLY!!! Where do they learn these things!!



He loves the neighbors sprinkler system, when it comes on he tries to run through it each time!! Good thing the neighbor doesn't mind!!



You should see how fast he swims with flippers on!! He was everywhere!!

He wanted one of these chairs!! He couldn't believe how big it was!!

All he wants to do is...

 SWIM... and it wears him out!!!

All he talks about is going swimming. He wakes up on my days off and says when are we going to the pool? He has always gotten excited when I asked if he wanted to go swimming, but now he asks to go!! He loves to be there and definitely can't get enough. Last week we went to the pool on  both of my days off, the second day we stayed till they closed it because of rain. We got there right when they opened so he was the only kid there for 20 minutes!! He loved that, he didn't have to wait in line for the slide!!

 

First Pool Trip and it's JULY!!!

 

 

I took Brayden to the pool yesterday in the afternoon and I wasn't sure I was ever going to get him out of there!! He was very independent for the first visit!! He could of swam all day I think!! He loved the slide, going under water, walking on his hands, jumping in doing a CANNON BALL, anything in the water really!! So much fun to see him having fun!! I think we will head back this morning for a little bit!!!

ZOO fun!!

 

Well we did not do much for the 4th of July so we decided to go to the zoo with some friends!! Brayden had so much fun!! I think that his favorite part was the playgrounds but he did like the dolphin show and other animals too!! He was so excited to see the giraffes too!! All of  the "Big Cats" were sleeping I guess because it was pretty hot!! After we left the zoo we went with friends to a splash park by their house!! The 3 of them loved it!! They just ran around filling cups of water and throwing them on us adults!!

Brayden's swollen face was so much better both days this weekend, pretty much back to normal. Thanks goodness because the doctor scared me with saying something about cellulitis!! I hope that we make it through this without anything peculiar!!! Hoping to continue on our speedy recovery!!

Today we went to grandma's house and Brayden and daddy swam in her pool!! Brayden started off very rough with the water, but before long he was jumping into daddy and swimming back with the help of his new froggy lifejacket!! It made a huge difference with giving him a little independence in the water!! Thanks to daddy for the great purchase!!!

This weekend we were eating dinner at Culvers and the song "Be my girl" came on. Brayden has been singing it to me ever since!! It is so funny and so sweet, he is becoming such a big boy way to fast!! You just never know what he will say next!! He leaves you wondering for sure!!
