He knows where he is going?!?

I was driving Brayden home from school this week and he started telling me where to go to get home. He was telling me where to turn and which way to turn, I guess he picks up on everything!! My vacation is coming to an end and we will be going back to a normal schedule in a few days, but we had a great time off together! We got to do lots of things together and are preparing for our next trip to the DELLS, and this time we are going with his cousins so he is pumped!! We had great weather so we spent lots of time outside playing with all of his toys!! I still can't get him to peddle his bike for longer than a second, but he still likes to make it move with his feet and ruin his shoes! He loves to walk now outside or anywhere, for that matter, and hold our hands.

Today, we had my family up to our house including Uncle Dan, and Brayden decided that he didn't need a nap all day, he did really good until about 8:30 when I picked him up and I think he fell asleep in my arms after 1 drink of milk!! He is a tropper for sure and had so much fun playing with grandma and grandpa and his cousins, so it was worth it!!

One day this week I was making lunch for him and Donny and he was watching TV in the process and I walked in to give him lunch and he had fallen asleep in his favorite chair, I took a picture because it was so precious!!

Copy Cat

Brayden has become quite the little COPY CAT. He repeats everything we say and tries to do anything we do!! We have gotten quite a few laughs out of these things thus far and are expecting many more!! He hasn't been sleeping well this week because of allergies I am sure, but last night he slept all night without coughing so mommy got some good sleep too!!  Thank goodness he did this while I was on vacation so things didn't matter so much!! My vacation will be over after 5 more days and I think Brayden is liking having mommy home every morning, but he yells for mommy every morning either way so who knows, but he is ready for his daddy time back!! I think that I could live with 2 weeks off twice a year pretty easy!!

Brayden continues to like anything with wheels that moves and points out all trucks, buses,  police cars, fire trucks, tractors and motorcycles while riding in the car, I swear he doesn't miss one!! He loves his CARS movies and toys from the movie, he also loves his race cars!! He refuses to be potty trained, and I am not going to make him or myself miserable to get him there!! What's a few more months of diapers any ways!! He loves chicken nuggets and pizza! He talks about eating ice cream a lot, but  in doesn't eat much when we give it to me. He tells us he wants COOKIES for every meal every day, and I even told him if goes potty in the potty he could have cookies for breakfast, but that didn't work either!! Oh well!!

He is getting really good at boundaries, he knows not to go in the street, and if he is crossing the street he looks both ways says "No cars, no cars" and hold our hand. He is listening better when we tell him no, he still tries to push his limits but ultimately he does what we tell him most of the time!  He enjoys having a little freedom, like he will go out into the back yard by himself and tell us to come out in a few minutes, since it is fenced in we usually let him!! 

We can't go by a school bus while driving without him telling me to "STOP behind the bus, gotta stop" because one day he told me to go with a school bus in front of me with its arm out, and I tried to explain it to him!! He remembers everything!!
He loves to jump, and be chased and will frequently tell us to chase him and say "You can't catch me"!


I am just thankful that he still takes naps, since he sure can wear me out in a day!!!

Best of Friends!!

Brayden and I met Alexis and Tami today for a fun-filled morning and lunch!! These two are three months apart and are so cute together!! We had so many laughs watching them copy everything the other one did!! They are so different and so similar at the same time!! Brayden is loud and talks non-stop, he is always moving and a little sassy at times, he eats a ton and is bigger both in height and weight!! Alexis is so sweet, soft spoken, talks loud mostly when she has something she wants heard, she shares great, she eats way less than Brayden, will tell you exactly what she wants, and will try anything by herself once! We went to a little zoo, a playground, and then to McDonalds for lunch!! Both kids were so good, we got lots of cute pictures, and they got along great, till Brayden got tired and grouchy!!! Take a look at how cute our little ones are!!! I hope that years from now we will still be taking them out together just like this!!

Enjoying Mommy Time

Brayden and I have been hanging out alot lately and we are both enjoying it very much!! Brayden tells Donny every day at least once that "I am his Mommy" and he doesn't share well!!! Friday morning at 7am tractors came to put in a new driveway across the street and Brayden had to go outside to watch so we sat outside in the freezing cold and watch the tractor dig!! He loved it and even took his chair outside today and sat down and asked where the tractors went!! He remembers everything.

Brayden is getting so good at animal noises, he even knows ones that we have never talked about!! His newest favorite one is a MONKEY and it is so cute!!

We took Brayden to the store and he picked out a new car and for a few days he kept showing us the new car and telling us he had to buy it at the store, and he only got 1. He is starting to tell past experiences when he gets in similar circumstances and it is amazing to me he can compare things like this. I can't say enough that he is growing way faster than I want him to!!

Finally, Eating Out in Peace with Brayden!!

Today I had Brayden all day by myself and he was such a good boy!! We met daddy at McDonalds for lunch and had dinner at Pizza Hut with Grandma and both went extremely well!! Maybe after this I can convince Donny we can take Brayden out to dinner!! Brayden sat at the table and ate 3/4 of his personal pan pizza and then told me he was all done and then went and played with the video games! He is getting so big, so fast, and it kills me!! Mommy's vacation

I am on vacation for two weeks, and have taken Brayden out of daycare for a few days so we have a little more time to hang out!! Each day I want to do something fun with him including going to see a movie (his first one at a theater) Finding Nemo in 3D, hopefully the zoo, parks, jumpy place, and whatever else comes up when we hang out with a few friends!! I can't help but want to see all of his firsts because that face is worth a million dollars.

Monday night when I was making dinner Brayden found the Kitchen Aid and wanted to make a cake, ofcourse we did and it turned out perfect!!

Next weekend Uncle Daniel is coming to stay with us for the night and we  are going to have grandma and grandpa over and Aunt Carrie and the girls over for a fun filled afternoon. We miss Uncle Daniel so much so we are so happy to spend some time with him!!

This morning Brayden got out of the bathtub and we were racing to the living room and he won. After he won he said to me "I winner, winner chicken dinner"!! He remembers everything I say to him, and repeats back most as I say it!!

Brayden got bit at school again yesterday, second time in 1 week, and it breaks my heart!! This time I called and we have a plan for this to hopefully not happen again!! He told me all about the little girl that bit him and had me kiss his finger about 20 times so I know it broke his heart too!!

 Brayden's new thing is snoring so we were at the park and Brayden started pretending to sleep and snoring right in the middle of the park!!

It was obvious to me a storm was coming, but Brayden would not go inside because "It no raining mommy"!! We stayed outside till it was chilly, very windy and sprinkling before he said "Now you right mommy I think it raining"!!
