Pumpkin Parade

This year we had the opportunity to ride in the pumpkin parade as a family with some friends on the hospital float!! Brayden got to ride in the back of the truck and he was free to roam around and he loved it. I was a bit chilly so we got him all layered up and off we went!! He loves his cotats this year so we didn't even have to fight!! I think we could get use to Halloween lasting for an entire week!!

 He loved the BIGFOOT!!!

 Observing everything that was going on, ofcourse he had his juice, cars, hat (which he wouldn't wear), and chicken nuggets!! All the things in life he couldn't live without!!!

We got home and he is always trying to be like Mater, so daddy put him in the chair like this and he thought it was great!!! He has so many layers on he kind of looks like a football player!!

Halloween Is Coming!!!!

This week we have once again started "Potty on the potty". He has been doing pretty good and has peed and pooped many times!! Hopefully we are getting somewhere!!

 Brayden got distracted by his toys in the garage when we were painting his pumpkin and made his truck into a tow truck and it towed his "baby car" he said!! He has quite the imagination already!

 We have also bee getting ready for Halloween including decorating pumpkins, which he loved once again!! The Sycamore Pumpkin festival kicked off on Wednesday and we turned in our pumpkin and also trick-or-treated at the stores with friends!! Brayden loved it!! I can't wait for Halloween night!! He loves his costume and wears in around making the car crash into things, and then he falls over and can't get up in his costume!! I have a video and we were laughing pretty hard!!

Pumpkin Farm

I have the same anxiety about this winter as I did last winter!! What are we going to do all winter when we can just go outside to play!! He loves to be outside, and that always cheers him up if he is a little grouchy!! I can do chilly weather, but under 30 degrees is not for me!!! I guess I better start planning play dates and get my little shopper back to be being a good shopper quick, or I could be right and it could be a LONG WINTER!!! I've been working on some fun Christmas presents already that hopefully will extend our indoor fun too!!

We took Brayden to the pumpkin farm close to our house, and he had lots of fun till we started to pick out his pumpkin in the field and they were all gross!!! We ended up buying our pumpkin at the grocery store, but still had the experience of picking the pumpkin from the field!! Good thought anyway!!! We decorated two pumpkins today, but I am saving them for their own post because he is so proud of himself!! He loved decorating them, and I loved helping, pretty soon he is going to not let me help him I am sure!!

Get Outside While we Can!!

Who would of known besides a grandma that a TOY CATALOG would keep my little guy busy for hours!! Oh my goodness, he loves looking at them and telling us "I need this, we need to buy it"!! Christmas is going to be easy for him this year and he is going to love opening all of the presents!! I can't wait!!

Like I said before, we having a hard time with Brayden sleeping in his own bed and even just going to sleep! Last night after telling him to lay down for 1 hour in our bed I put him in his bed, he fussed a little, but never got up and was asleep for the night in 15 minutes!! I do for sure hate listening to him cry, but the kid, and his parents need to sleep sometime!! I wish he could tell me the problem, because he is probably just being a stinker!! Hopefully this will start a smooth transition back to our old bed time routine!!
