Love these Boys!!!

These two boys are so amazing, I can't even believe it!!! They amaze me everyday!!! Nolan is trying so hard to crawl he can even get his butt up in the air now!! He's trying all kinds of real food, and loves everything we tried but baby food!!! Today he loved my smoothie! He still loves to be held and I am getting all of the cuddles in I can, knowing soon he will want to do it all himself!! When he was born I was told time and time again he would be 5 weeks behind on everything and at that point I had no idea what to expect, but I am so proud of him for where he is and feel like he's right on time with everything!!! Keep it up little man!!! He can still wear 3-6 month clothes sometimes but is definitely not little!!! Nolan loves toys with light and sounds and playing with his brother or other kids! He does great at daycare and loves his morning teachers for sure!! He often reaches for them when I am holding him!!! He is starting to stay awake closer to 3 hours between naps and nap time is more substantial like 2-3 hours on top of 9 hours at night, I have a sleeper!!!

Brayden is bored at daycare because a lot of the kids are out for the summer! We let him bring treats a few days and got him a new toy for show and tell and it helps!!! He only has 18 more days at daycare before we go to Florida then start kindergarten!!! I can't believe he's old enough for school!! Brayden has the best preschool teachers and they have worked with him all year to write his name, cut with scissors, and do art and they have given him so much encouragement he finally believes he can do and doesn't complain, I sure hope his kindergarten teacher is this patient!!!!

Big boy Toys!!

We got out the big boy toys for Nolan this week!!! He thought it was Christmas I think!!! All toys that have noises and lots of things to do!!! He played for 90 minutes!! Brayden helped exchange one for another to keep him occupied!!! It was great!! Nolan has been sampling real food this week working on being able to pick it up and put it in his mouth by himself!! He's getting better and knows he wants to eat it!!! He is growing to fast!! He is less interested in bottles and more in food for sure!! I'm pretty sure his two bottom teeth broke through but he won't let me look close just feel!! 

Brayden had soccer camp this week and loved it!!! He only went to school 1 day for half day and I think he could get use to that too!! He spent every afternoon with grandma and his cousins, and one with mommy!!! Daddy took him to camp so a lot of 1 on 1 time for him!!! We planned a trip to Florida this week for right before school starts just to hang out and relax on the beach!!! We are so excited!!! It will be great to have some relaxed family time after we get through the plane ride with a baby!!

Mama mama

Well my little guy is growing incredibly too fast!!! Last weekend he said mama!!! I'm not sure he knew what he said but it came out as mama which made this mama incredibly happy!!! You see we have been practicing for months and it paid off!! We also had 6 month pictures which turned out to be  a great outing!!! I had a smiley happy baby for 25 minutes then we called it quits!!! The first picture is one from the session!!! Brayden was suppose to go to but his face was swollen from bug bites so he got out of it!!! Nolan is not interested in baby food one bit, I was pretty sure he wanted real food and I think I am right!!! I gave him mashed potatoes, green beans, and a roll and he was one happy boy!!! I guess we will skip baby food all together!!

Brayden has soccer camp next week with daddy every day in the morning!!! Then he gets to go to grandma's house for the rest of the day!! He is pretty excited to not have school all week!!! He also is really want to go to a beach so we are working on a quick trip to Florida in August before school starts!!!! Not much else for this week!! 

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July!!!

We have had a great two days together as a family!!!! Love having the holidays off and spending time as a family!! We went shopping yesterday and got pictures outfits for both boys, since pictures are tomorrow!!! Both of the boys were amazing little shoppers!! 

Nolan is drinking out of a soppy cup and loves it!! He's eating puffs, Cheerios, and oatmeal consistently, but doesn't really care for baby food!! He has no teeth so I am reluctant to give him too much real food!! He no longer lets me hold him to put him to sleep, he wants to be laid down and puts himself to sleep except for bedtime he falls asleep in my arms eating almost every night!! He is starting to babble lots more but no clear words yet!! Believe me we practice "mama" every day, I'm doing my best for that to be his first word!!! Nolan sat in a high chair for the first time at a restraint and seemed to enjoy being part of the eating scene!!! Nolan continues to scoot backwards to get where he wants to be and point at things with a grunt to get what he wants!!!

Brayden got bit up by Mosquitos at the parade and ended up with a swollen face so no pictures for him, which he seemed to be happy about!! He just gets benedryl every 6 hours, poor kiddo!!! He is now scared to be outside and hates bugs!!! Oh goodness!!! I put bug spray on him but he doesn't let me get his face so we are trying to figure something out!!! Brayden is very into Legos still and plays with them every day, he finally decided it was ok to take one apart and make it something else, some of his creations have been built for 7 months!! Brayden talks for Nolan all the time, we sometimes struggle to decipher which kid he is being, since he now never stops talking!! Lol, never a dull moment!! It makes me giggle that Brayden wants to do everything Nolan does and Brayden pretends that Nolan wants to do everything he does. I guess he is just helping us prepare for when Nolan is talking!!!
