We Were Really Liking the Warm Weather!!

We have been playing outside every chance we have, and we woke up this am and it was COLD!!! We knew it was a possibly being March and all, but it stinks!!

Well over the last few days Brayden's vocabulary has flourished once again!! He finally said SORRY for the first time, we have been working on that for a while! He says everything we tell him to say and most of the words he says we can understand, although he has a few words that are something, I just haven't figured out what they are yet! We have been working on him saying his name and we get some funny attempts I think!  Brayden talks about PA PA all the time, he can't get enough of that guy!! It is cracking me up!! This weekend we went down to my mom and dad's for a family picture with everyone and my dad had my nieces too, and Brayden was not happy that he was not the only one getting attention from grandpa!!

NO TUBES!!!!!!!

Today was the big day, we found out that Brayden does not need tubes!! The fluid is all dried up and his ears like PERFECT again!! This is a huge relief to me right now, and my little guy got to have a fun morning minus the hour at the doctors office!!

We played outside this am before the doctor and then after the doctors office we went to the park and then we suprised daddy and met his at McDonalds for lunch, Brayden also got to play in the playland!! Which for the first time he climbed up into it a little!!

Today Brayden again pleasantly suprised me, this time not by a word or phrase he said, but by his interaction with other kids close to his age!! He found a little boy at the park today and just followed him around playing and playing!! I just couldn't believe how great his interactions were!! He doesn't get upset if they go in front of him on the slide, he doesn't mind being pushed a little, and he holds his own pretty good too!! He looks so much older than he is it always makes me a little anxious!!

Brayden had on his Mickey Mouse shoes today, and they were a big hit at the park, it got to the point where he was showing off his shoes saying "Look, I have mouse shoes"!! What a riot!! He also saw a school bus and took off running after it saying "I need to ride PAPA's bus"! One more while I am at it, after seeing the doctor today which we talked about all morning we walked out, Brayden turned around looked at the doctor and said "Thank You, Bye, bye"

My little guy is growing up way quicker than I want him too!!

Who taught this kid to talk???

Over the past few days I worked alot more than normal, so I was with my little guy less than normal. I am spoiled for the most part and get to spend 4 days per week with Brayden, but this week I missed him a ton, daddy had an extra day with him and he must of taught him to talk!! He has started talking on command, he is becoming the kid that will say whatever you tell him too!! He is not as concerned with everyone knowing what he is saying, and he is becoming even more of a talking machine!!!

He has also started throwing all of his toys, every time he throws a toy we put it on the mantle where he can see it but can't get to it, and when he looks at it he remembers not to throw any more toys! Or at least that is what we are hoping for!! I am waiting for the day I walk into the living room and find him climbing the fireplace! Oh goodness!! He hasn't had any luck this far at least!

Brayden is going to want to be outside every chance he gets at least that is the vibe we have gotten this far! He gets upset every time we have to come outside!! He has also gotten quite a taste for ice cream this year. Yesterday he sat with us for out entire ice cream and ate as much as we did!! Maybe he is his mother!!

First Time to the Park in 2012

Wow what a difference 5 months has brought! The last time I took Brayden to the park was October!! He loved it and ran around like crazy but was very curious of everything but would try nothing without mommy with him!! Yesterday I think I took a different kid to the park! He did all the slidese by himself, and ran around the equiptment by himself too! He climbed the bars to get onto the equiptment, and even walked across the bridge himself!! This summer is going to be a blast, I better start getting ready now!! Here are a few pictures I got of him being MR. INDEPENDENT!!!

The RIGHT CHOICE!!

Today was one of those rare days when I took Brayden to daycare, I try to avoid taking him because what usually happens is that we both leave each other crying and it causes regression for all of the hardwork that both daycare and daddy have worked towards. Today was no different for a few seconds, yes I shed a few tears when my almost 22 month old got upset and cried because he didn't want me to leave! He went to one of the teachers, got down and played but ended up back in my arms both times!! I just couldn't do it I ecouldn't leave him crying, I left with plenty of time to play this game for a while ofcourse! At the end he ended up getting down and going to play with the kids! The best part of the morning for me was being able to watch the interaction that Brayden had with his teacher, it was amazing to see that the adults taking care of him during the day are willing to hold him, comfort him, distract him, and even hug him when he needed it! They are very good with him, they know him very well, and I think that I can finally say that we made the right decision by placing him there!!

We went to Chucke Cheese last weekend and Brayden loved the atmosphere, but didn't particularly like the rides! He thought that some of the games were like putting money in his piggy bank so he liked that!!

What doing??

Brayden is getting curious! He is constantly wondering what is going on around him, and he must hear us ask each other often: Where are you going? or What are you doing? because he is asking us now anytime he can't figure it out on his own. He is still talking a ton and telling us new things daily. This week he also started telling us he is stuck all the time, especially in his carseat when we are driving down the road. He gets what stuck is I guess!! He is also entering into what everyone calls the TERRIBLE TWOS or so we are hoping that is what happening!! He is starting to listen and do what we say much more and tonight Donny's sister said that he listens well to her, so that was good news!!

Brayden has been on his new antibiotic for almost the 10 days and the zyrtec the same, he is doing well so it seems, I am starting to wonder if maybe all of tooth pain was really his ears and that maybe he never got over the first ear infection because things have been better!! M aybe I am being positive hoping for no tubes but who knows!! March 21st is the big day!!

The weather has been amazing so far this March, Brayden has been able to spend some time outside enjoying the sun, it has been great!! He loves to be outside, I can't wait to see what summer will bring this year!!

Brayden is getting over his third ear infection in the past month this weekend. We started a new antibiotic and Zyrtec to try and get rid of the fluid from his ears!!  If this works we will avoid tubes once again!! I am praying that this works, I just can't picture my little man on a stretcher going to surgery!! I am thinking the best for now!! We had a big day planned on Friday to celebrate mom's birthday and we had to cancel it because my little guy was SICK once again!! It all ended up ok, and he is getting better like normal but the temps only lasted a short time!!
