Its been a while!!!

Both kids are growing up faster than I ever wanted them too!! Brayden is adjusting to kindergarten very well, and actually enjoys it except for the homework!! It's a long day for him and he is still adjusting so I understand, but can't be too lax on it because it's inevitable that he will have homework!! He is putting letters together to make words, short words but still words, he is singing all kinds of song, he knows his letter sounds, he tells us what double digit numbers are!!! He is adding!! All kinds of stuff, I can't believe how much he has learned in a months time!!! He is officially a school kid!! He plays soccer on Saturdays and seems to enjoy it!!! He loves his new after school program and enjoys the new playground with his old friends!!! It's been great!!! Brayden had to take a sick day from school already because of croup and a BAD ear infection!! Luckily the ear didn't hurt him, but the fever is what really kept him down!! We restarted him Zyrtec and gave him a steroid and a little antibiotic and he did great!! The best part was mommy and him got to have a snuggle day off at home!!!

Nolan is almost 10 months old (tomorrow it will be official), he is starting to crawl, and I mean just starting to crawl normal, he's been scooting and spinning in circles, and going backwards for a while!!! He loves big kid toys, and one of his favorite ones is a drumstick!!! Luckily he doesn't use it on the drum yet!!!  He is a huge mommy's boy!!! If I am around he wants to be held by me at all times, and if he wants down he wants me within arms reach at all times!! He loves food still, he can eat just about anything without having teeth, and he doesn't like baby food!! When he eats he almost always has to be bathed after because he is MESSY!!! He continues to take bottles but loves his sippy cup!!! Donny and I are ready for him to be mobile because he gets very aggravated that he can't get where he wants to go!!! He continues to love being outside and very rarely complains when he is!!! He got his first fever, but thankfully it didn't last long and didn't accompany any other symptoms except needing a little more attention and being a little grouchy!!!

Sick days all around

 

Sick days all around over here!! Started with me, then Nolan, then Brayden!!! We are all on the mend and ready to get back into action!!! Nolan just had a fever really no other signs of anything except being a little grouchy, which has grown to be normal since he won't crawl!! Brayden had croup, and an ear infection with a fever!! Poor kiddos are doing better and that is what counts!! Luckily we still got to enjoy the warm weather a little!!!

Brayden had a soccer game and he was such a little go getter!! He scored 2 goals right in the beginning of the game, the look on his face was awesome!! He was so proud of himself!!! He also had 5 days in a row of green, no reds for a whole week!! Ofcourse we celebrated that accomplishment!!! We also switched after school programs for him and he is a much happier kid when he gets to see his daycare friends!! His words were "I sure do have the life," after the first day!! We also just found out that his best friend William is going to start going there and now Kindergarten just got that much better!!!! Happy kiddo over here!!!!

Nolan is trying to hard to move, he goes backwards goes from sitting to laying easily, but just can't get his arms and butt off the floor at the same time!!! We let him try as much as we can but he gets so mad!!! I hate hearing him upset and I just can't watch it happen!! It is hard at daycare because I do not let him cry at home so he doesn't want it there either!! He is getting on a lesser nap schedule finally down to two good naps a day and maybe a little cat nap in the evening, then he sleeps about 9 hours through the night!!! I won't complain!! He found his new favorite toy car that he can ride in the last week and he loves it!! He will go on a walk for as long as you continue to walk!!  Well here are a few pictures from the past week, hope you enjoy!!

 

 

I take too many pictures

I take a ton of pictures of the kids and since I don't print them out, and this is my pretend baby book here are a bunch!! Brayden likes to do everything that Nolan does if you can't tell even if it take a bath in the sink!!!

 

These are some of the most precious little ones I know!!! I can't get enough of them all!! We always have so much when we all get together!! We are very lucky to have lots of friends with little ones around the same age!!!

 Brayden had his first playdate at a friends house this week after school!!! He didn't miss us a bit and had tons of fun with his best friend William!!!

 Corn fest!!! Its always fun and even more fun with you meet up with some friends!!! I can't believe how much fun Brayden can have at a carnival!!!

Brayden earned ice cream at dinner after his first week at school!! He couldn't believe daddy said yes!!! He was one happy boy!! 

Nolan 9 month STATS

Nolan just went to his 9 month check up, and his stats are in!!! He is advancing into the higher percentiles quickly and getting so big!!! His latest STATS are:

21 pounds 7 ounces= 75th percentile

29 inches long= 75th percentile

He is doing great with everything, but is getting very  frustrated that he can not crawl!! He wants to move so bad and just hasn't gotten it yet!! He becomes quite a bear about it too!!! He will move when he is ready is all I can think!!!

At 9 months he loves to eat, anything, just give him real food!!
