Mr. Independent!!!

His new obsession is shaving cream!! I remember playing in the bathtub with shaving cream as a kid so of course I found him a little shaving cream kit to play with it and he loves it!!! I think he goes through a can each bath!!!

 He can do anything we can do BETTER!!! ALL BY HIMSELF TOO!!!

 We are trying to enjoy the last bit of warm weather that we can!! I am looking forward to be locked in the house all winter, especially with a little one on the way and the BITTER COLD we had last year!! I am hoping for a mild winter like the summer we had!!

 Brayden played his best friends from school last weekend at soccer and the boys had a blast!! These three get along so well, its fun to watch!! They have been together in school for some time and this is their last year before they are split up in kindergarten

I will get better with updating!!

I have been exhausted lately, but promise I will get better with keeping the blog updated!! We have had lots of fun at the end of the summer enjoying soccer, swimming, Corn Fest, Play dates, and whatever else we have found to do!! Here are a bunch of pictures from the last few weeks!!

 

He loves anything that lights up, and it kept him content while shopping!! Score!!!

Brayden loves playing with the dog, or antagonizing the dog should I say!! This is a blanket that Brayden thought he liked, since he has 4 total, he lets the dog cuddle with it most of the time but uses it to bug him too!!!

 Soccer is going much better, a little bribery in place and he will play the whole game!! He gets bored sometimes still and actually took a kid on the other team by the jersey and pushed him down because he got between the ball and him!!! Football might be a little closer to his calling, but soccer will have to do for now till he gets a little bigger!!! Donny also doesn't use the whistle because Brayden got it from him and said "I think we have had enough coaching from you, I will do it now!!!" Oh goodness!!! My little handful.

 He loves to build robots out of anything, actually he loves to build anything!! This was him at school building robots. In the basement Donny has been using small cuts of granite and putting them on the walls for decoration and Brayden has built some pretty big robots from them and he is pretty good!!! We are in the process of redoing his bedroom before the baby comes and robots have crossed our  minds a few times!! He is in to so many things we can win with about any answer luckily!!

 He built this all by himself and did such a good job!!!

 Muddy Puddles

 Here are some Cornfest pictures!! He found a little boy from school and ran around with him the whole night!! They had a blast!! It was so much fun to watch him interact with another little guy his age!!! He also has no fears, he talked his daddy into the big pirate ship ride and loved it!! I didn't get any pictures because I was a nervous wreck on how he would do, but ofcourse he proved me wrong and did great!!

 Brayden and I went out to lunch one day just the two of us!! He was such a good boy and after the meal when the server brought the check he told me "I will take care of this for you and went up and paid the bill", he said "this is what boys do!!!" Being the only girl is not so bad!!

 He loves the water this year, we could not be happier with his progress!! We will do swimming lessons again this year and hopefully by next summer he will not need the life jacket!! He swims under water and kicks and moves his arms well!!!

Sorry for so many pictures!!! I just can't get enough of his cuteness!!! Love that little guy so much!! He tells me regularly now that "I will be his only mommy and he will always love me!! Same to you little man!!!
