We Have To Do This More

 We went to a friends house today and had a GREAT time!! There were 3 adults and 3 little ones!! The little ones definately ruled the show today!! They were so much fun though! Brayden had so much fun playing with Alexis that he let me hold the new baby!! That never happens without a fight, but today it was easy!! I love to watch them interact with eachother, they are so different, yet so the same. I also think I learned why Brayden gets bitten at daycare!! He just takes what he wants, thankfully Alexis is a sweet little girl that likes to hug and kiss not fight, or Brayden would of been in big trouble!! It was also great because they both slept really well afterwards!! Play dates are going to have to start happening more often especially with winter coming!! SO much FUN!!! Thanks To Tami and Albert for letting us come over today!!!!

Another EAR INFECTION....

Went to the doctor today and found out that Brayden has his second ear infection of his life and it is only a month from the first one. We are going to try antibiotics this time because he has been so miserable and not sleeping!! Everything else looks good so we will try this again. I told Donny what was found and he brought up tubes already?? I hadn't even thought that so I am going to keep avoiding that subject for now!! Brayden woke up not feeling great this am, and I took a picture of him in his carseat and he didn't look like he felt well either!! Poor little baby, I am sorry that he is sick again. I am sure that it is because of daycare and everything that he has been exposed to already, but hopefully when he starts school he will immune to all of it!! Donny and I are praying that he will get some sleep after he gets some medicine is his system and start to feel better!!

It's gonna be a long winter.....

Well, our little guy is a much bigger fan of summer than the fall so far!! He doesn't like to wear clothes in general and to put long sleeves on him is a big problem!! He had to wear a jacket part of this weekend and it didn't go well!! WINTER will be interesting, he will either like the cold and still want to be outside all of the time or he will not like it at all and we will fight him to get him to go out at all!! Time will Tell!! Our little guy knows what he wants and when he wants and he doesn't like it if it is not his way, or at least that is how this long holiday weekend went. Thank goodness Donny was off this long weekend too beacause our little guy was kind of a handful and didn't sleep at all hardly!! He was waking up almost hourly through the night and going back to sleep but would be loud enough to make sure we were awake too!!! We would start to get up to see what was going on and he would sleeping again!! It made me worry a little, so I planned on taking him to the doctor Tuesday!! Well, I wanted to share a few pictures of the happy times we had this weekend, we didn't take him far because his mood changed very quickly and we didn't want to get stuck anywhere.

Brayden went Truck Shopping....

Donny and I took Brayden to buy Donny a new truck last night. Ofcourse it was a 40 minute drive and then as usual nothing went a smooth as we had hoped it would, but we came home with a new truck!! Donny and Brayden are in heaven. Brayden loved sitting in the trucks and pretending to drive!! We got to the dealer and they test drove our car and after opening and closing the huge sunroof a few times it quit closing. It is a $1100 part to fix and at this point it is still our car so that stunk!! Oh well. Brayden is quite the car shopper, it will be interesting when he is old enough to drive if he picks bright blue cars then too!! The truck that he liked the most was hideous!!

After truck shopping one of Donny's friends came over with his 21 month old little boy and Brayden and him had a great time. It was so much fun to see them run after each other and play together!! I thought that 15 months old was a great age and I am excited to see what every month adds to my little peanut!! When they were leaving they gave each other 5, blew eachother a kiss, waved, and they tried to do knuckles but Brayden wasn't sure about that! I had so much fun running after them!!

More Fun than Ever...

Right when I think my baby is the most fun he could ever be, he becomes more FUN!!! We had such a good morning today and he stuck to his daycare schedule almost perfectly as far as napping goes. That is quite an accomplishment for me because I am not the mom that sticks to nap schedules!! This morning he sat down at the table outside, and wanted me to sit accross from him so I did, I blew him a kiss, and he did it back and then did it a few more times!! SOOO Precious!! He is also getting stingy with his real kisses so when we get one now we get excited! I got 2 today!!!
We also went to get his haircut today, which went well, he ofcourse had his sucker and he also took the lady that cut his hair giant brush to get the hair off of his neck and played with that. A little bribery goes a long way when it comes to hair cuts!! He looks so cute with his big boy haircut!! When we finished his haircut there was a little boy there about 4 years old who had also just got his haircut and did great and his mom told me she was jealous about how well Brayden did, and I was thinking Brayden had some work to do to do as well as that little boy. Isn't it funny how all moms are comparing our little guys to other little guys!! Come to find out we are all very lucky to have such precious little additions to our lives!!
Brayden has little smile that goes across his whole face and it melts me every time I see it!! I can't get enough of it!! We are very lucky to have such a happy little man.

Night Away from Mom and Dad....

Well, this weekend was a big weekend for Donny, Brayden and I; Brayden went down to Grandma and Grandpa's and spent the night without Mommy and Daddy!! It went remarkably well for all of us. Brayden loved being the only thing they payed attention to for a whole 24 hours. He slept like 11.5 hours for them, something he very rarely does for us, but he did wake Grandpa up at 3am for a short time so they needed it!!

They spoiled him and I am not sure who enjoyed it more Brayden or Grandma and Grandpa!! Donny and I had a fun night to ourselves too so it all worked out!! We had forgotten what it was like to not be running around busy all the time!! Grandpa remember what it was like to have a little boy running around non-stop. Brayden is such a busy body and you never know what he is going to do next, he is full of suprises all the time!!

Brayden had shots last week, and wok up from his nap with welts and hives on the back of both calves, I tried to get pictures, but it was hard because he was moving so fast. They went away fast, so I guess it isn't such a big deal, but hopefully it doesn't happen with every shot!!

15 Month Visit

Today was Brayden's 15month visit to the MD office. He is still growing for sure. A new doctor is starting in the office with his Pediatrician which means, I am sure, that he will not be around forever. I love his Pediatrician and do not want to see him go, so I will avoid that for now and enjoy all of the visits we will have with him. The new physician was very nice, but very young and definately still learning so I am confident that we have some time.

His latest stats are:

33inches long- 90%tile

26 pounds 8 ounces-70%tile

*Both are dropping from his norm so I guess that is good. (There are still no concerns with his growth pattern)

Brayden is meeting all of his marks as far as developement, ahead on some like words, throwing a ball, playing with blocks.....They say that he is somewhere around 18 months or so. We will see how that goes. He had to get 2 shots today and it hurt him. Poor little guy was laying down and his face got so red, and he cried. He hadn't cried for shots in a while so I didn't like that, but the nurse said that the shots he got today burn!! Poor little guy fell asleep in the car on the way home.
