Brayden is getting so big that he got out of our car and got into Papa's without a fit. He spent the night there on Saturday so Donny and I could get some shopping done for the basement. It worked out really well for everyone. Brayden missed us they said, but it was short lived, because he was having so much fun. He fell asleep at dinner in grandma's arms and stayed asleep for the night! That never happens at our house, 11 hours of sleep straight is unheard of!! Grandma and Papa got him some new clothes, and he really likes them. The shirts have a shark, a helicopter and a sailboat all of which he really likes right now and Brayden has decided that he wants to only wear these outfits, clean or dirty!! Should be interesting!!
He went to the pool at grandmas and went off the diving board, I didn't believe it so I went with on Sunday to get it on video. He is quite the little swimmer with no fears!!
Donny took Brayden to get a haircut on Friday after work, and he had no idea what he was in for. Now this is never an easy task but it has never been as bad as it was on Friday!! Donny took him to Great Clips, and went in twice and left both times with a frantically scared little boy. He had bribed Brayden with a toy and by the time he was in the car he was upset that he wasn't getting a toy now so he wanted to try again. Donny took him to Sports Clip and again tried once, left with a frantic child, and went in a second time and this time got him a haircut with Brayden sitting on his lap and still being a handful!! He left with a new haircut, a frantic child and was pretty frustrated himself!! Oh my goodness!! Brayden actually had Donny convinced that he is petrified of getting his hair cut and had daddy feeling awful that he had to go through it!! I can acutally say that I am soooooo HAPPY I was working for all that!!
We celebrated daddy's birthday last week, and Brayden just couldn't wait to make a cake!! He loves to use the kitchen-aid, so we went to the store to pick out things for the cake including the candles!! He was excited to ask daddy if he could help blow out the candles too!! He told me that he thought that daddy would love to have lunch with him at McDonalds, so we called and asked and ofcourse daddy agreed!!
