Brayden has made it to 18 months!! He is getting so big. We went to the doctor today for his checkup and shots and this time he let the doctor listen to his heart and lungs and didn't even get upset. He glared at her pretty good when she messed with his ears though!! He is a health growing BIG BOY they said!!!
His latest stats are:
28pounds 13 ounces- 95th percentile
34 inches long- 95 percentile

Brayden got 3 shots today, and I thought we were done, but they wanted to start the Hepatitas A series so he will have to get one more at 2 years old too!! He did really good with the shots, I let him have a sucker this time. (it worked for circumcision when he was a baby to put sugar water on his pacifier) He sat on my lap with the sucker and didn't flinch for the first 2 shots, but the third one was over the line. He got mad, it was short lived and we were on our way happy!! He was yelling for daddy all morning so we met Donny for lunch at McDonalds and Brayden was much happier!!
Brayden is getting pretty tempermental these days!! He gets really mad at the first thought of not getting what he wants, we are encouraging his to sit on his blanket by himself and think about it and more often than not it is related to being tired!! He doesn't handle being tired well yet!! We also keep saying that it is a hard age because he knows what he wants but he can't quite get it out!! He is a good little talker, but not that good yet!! The doctor says that he pretty far ahead of himself when it comes to talking!! We will see hopefully this is a short lived stage! The best part is he only acts like this for mommy and daddy!!
