Soccer!!!!

 

Well Brayden's first soccer season is underway!!! His first game is under his belt!! Donny is coaching so he is glad it is started and he did very well!! You gotta have a lot of patients dealing with 5 four year olds!!! Brayden looked adorable in his little outfit!!! He had a lot of fun, but didn't get much playing time!! I think he got tired after running for 2 minutes and came to the side and let someone else go in!! We gotta work on his stamina I guess!!! He can kick the ball really good during practice but it is a whole new ball game during a real GAME!!!! We still have a long way to go and gonna start practicing with him a little more I think and we have a little soccer star on our hands!!! Love this little guy!!!

Fun Little Get Away and Pedaling the bike finally!!!

 

Donny and I are trying to have lots of memories and fun with Brayden before the new baby comes!! This past weekend we went with some friends to a cabin about 3 hours away!! We had no idea what to expect except that we would be with friends and we had a blast!!! It was the perfect little man cave for the boys and great relaxation and away time for the girls!! I got to play with babies, explore acres, cooking on a fire, smores, and watch Brayden have an amazing weekend!! Donny didn't want to leave, he enjoyed four wheeling with the guys and Brayden, swimming, attempting build a rope swing, paddle boating and many other manly things I am sure I don't know about!! Brayden is the only little boy that I know that can fall asleep on the 4 wheeler, which he did twice!!

 

When we got home after 3 days there, Donny and I were unloading the car while Brayden got his bike out!! We didn't think much because he has been avoiding pedaling for months now!! All of sudden we look up and he is half way to the neighbors pedaling for real!!! I ran after him so excited and asked why did you decide to pedal today and he says "Mommy I just wanted your attention"!!! Really after 3 full days of my attention he still wanted more!!! Gotta love this boy!!!!

Sweetest Little Guy

I would imagine by now everyone knows we are expecting baby number 2 on Christmas. Brayden is learning all about a new baby and he is really excited or so it seems!! It will be an adjustment for him for sure but he has been saying the cutest things like, "Mom can I take you to the hospital and get an x-ray so I can meet the baby?", "We have one small problem mom the baby doesn't have a seat in the car"!! He touches my stomach and gives the  baby kisses!! He is just the sweetest thing!! He loves him mommy so much too, at night he has been laying in his bed and asks me to rub his back and he kisses me and tells me "you are a beautiful mommy, love you so much"!! I just can't get enough of this sweet little man!! I wish I could freeze time and keep him just like this forever!!!

 

He finally likes swings!! He sometimes forgets that he can't let go and swing 1 handed on the big swings, but he laughs as mom freaks out!! He watches the bigger kids at the park and is starting to pick on pumping his legs so before long he will keep himself going!!

Summer Fun

Well, its been an interesting summer around here, lots of rain in June so finally getting some swim time in now. Brayden is really loving the water so far. He can't get enough of grandma Pam's pool!! His swimming is getting better and he finally is less hesitant when in the water!!

He refuses to nap most of the time and then we have an exhausted little guy that ends up looking like this passed out in the middle of something!! We usually get a good laugh in when it happens!!
