Sleeping or Eating...

So, I guessed today I missed the clues that Brayden gives when he is getting tired, or maybe I just kept him so occupied that he didn't know either, but when he falls asleep eating lunch I know I missed something!! Donny and I were laughing so hard, we didn't think it could be done, but it was!!

Brayden has really been enjoying his time in the basement, all open and tons of things to explore, as well as tons of ways to get into trouble. We have experienced all of the above!!! It is so much fun to see his imagination go though!! We have brought lots of toys to the basement as well as some of his baby things that he likes more now than he did when he was a baby I think!!!

Brayden has his first homework project today from school, we spent as long as he would allow decorating his heart for Valentine's Day!! We used stickers, crayons, markers, glitter and maybe some cheese from the chips he was eating??

He began a new love to hats again this weekend and has been putting hats on his head all by himself, I love it, I hope it continues so I can buy a few more cute hats!! He has also been wearing one of Donny's winter hats everytime he leaves the house, people have been looking as us pretty weird!! All I can think is AT LEAST HE IS WEARING A HAT!!



CRAZY KID!!!

We sure do have a crazy kiddo!! He is into everything and wants it all!! He is all over the place, he wakes up in the middle of the night thinking about his favorite things!! The other night he woke up saying CHOO CHOO!! Last night he woke up saying "MOU"!! It cracks me up when we are going up stairs for bed and I tell him to tell Moe and Daddy good night that he starts with his toys first then goes to daddy and the dog!!! 



Say Cheese

"Say Cheese" is what Brayden says when he sees the camera now!! And I have to mention he is more of a ham then he ever was before!! This morning he was eating a popsicle and couldn't really eat it because he was too busy posing for the camera. Ofcourse I had to post those.

Since Brayden was sick this week we had 5 days off together!! One day once his fever was gone it was almost 60 degrees in January so I let him run around outside for a little bit. He experimented with the snow that had not melted a little but decided running was much more fun!! 



To the doctor

This is a picture of my little man at the doctors office sitting on the table. He never wants any part of that table except to climb on and get right off and do it again. Yesterday he wanted to sit up there like a big boy! I took him to the  doctor because he had fever for 4 days not too high  but consistent, he wasn't sleeping and he had a cough!! Come to find out it was an ear infection in his right ear!! We started antibiotics and he seems to be doing better already, at least with sleeping!

It's been a week....

And my little man has completely forgotten that he has ever needed a pacifier!! I am so proud of him, it has been kind of a rough couple of days but he is a trooper and pushed through!! He had to come home from daycare on Friday because he had a temperature and has been fighting a fever on and off ever since!! Except for not eating he hasn't really let things bother him though!! He had his first milkshake today and loved it!! Sweet tea has also been keeping him hydrated!! I refuse to let him get dehydrated!! He has been his playful silly self!! Yesterday we were reading a Mickey book and he started saying "OH Toodles" It is so cute to hear it come from his mouth!!

We have officially started our adventure into finishing the basement and Brayden is going to be a little handy man just like his dad!! He loves to play down stairs and is always looking for a new adventure down there!! We are slowly moving toys down there to keep his attention and are continuously looking for new things for him to do!!
