My little cupcake still likes them as much as his first one!!

This is a picture of Brayden eating his first cupcake almost a year ago, well February will be a year ago!!!

We gave him another cupcake today and he still eats it the same ways and is still just as messy too!!! Love this little guy mess and all!!!

Well...He CAN _______ WITH THE BEST OF THEM!!!

Well our little guy has mastered THROWING A FIT!!! It is somewhat funny to watch though, but also very aggravating at the same time. He doesn't throw himself on the ground like some kids do, he very dramatically and carefully lowers himself to the ground so he doesn't get hurt, while screaming the whole time. He is becoming difficult to take places because you never know when the breakdown will happen. The fits are definately worse when he is tired, but you just never know.

He also walks around with his arms crossed across him chest when he doesn't get what he wants!! Boy am I going to have my hands full!!

He is still a cuddly little guy when he wants to be and he still enjoys playing, he just wants what he wants, when he wants it too!!

Brayden went to see Santa the other  day, and was ok with shaking his hand if mommy was holding him, but really had no desire to be on his lap. We ended up getting a picture of him with mommy and Santa!

First Real Car Trip....

Well, we finally decided that we would make the drive to Minnesota to see Donny's sister. We were very anxious as to how it was going to go in the car....and to our suprise it went extremely well!! We left on Friday night, stopped in the Dells for the night and then drove the rest of the way. We bought TV's for the car and Brayden watched Mickey Mouse the whole time. He stayed awake and was content in the car, he never cried and periodically he would fuss or something to get our attention, we would talk to him and he would be fine!! We drove home all the way in one day. Stopped for lunch and stopped in Rockford and let him play and he was perfect all day!!

We had so much in Minnesota and it was nice to get away for a few days!! Brayden was really good, and enjoyed playing with his cousins too!! We also saw Uncle Daniel, he is in town for work and flew in on Sunday night so we could have dinner with him. We went to Rainforest Cafe and Brayden liked all of it except for the THUNDER STORMS, he got a little teary eyed for those!! He loved the dancing gorillas and all of the fish tanks!! When we left there we stopped and looked at all of the displays and Brayden started saying "Animal"!!

We let him play outside at Sheila's and he even wore his hat, he must of realized that where we were COLD is much COLDER, and hats actually do work!! Ha, ha!!

Donny and I went to the Mall of America without Brayden and Aunt Sheila watched him, he opened all of the presents she had wrapped, he must of known that he could get away with anything!!!

He was sitting next to me at lunch one day and just took my hamburger off of my plate and started eating it!! It was so big and he is so little we all laughed and rushed to get the cameras out!!

I guess we should of bought him a guitar for Christmas, he kept going back to get this one, and it was as big as him and he would still just carry it all over the house!

You are NEVER GOING TO BELIEVE THIS....

My BIG BOY went potty on the big boy POTTY today!! He was getting ready to take a bath and he went to the toilet and said "UP, UP" so I put him on there. I have been thinking that he pees on command lately but didn't think he was this good and he went pee and poop!!! I am not sure where he got this idea from, but I love the fact that he did, and everyone says boys are harder!! HA, HA!! Boy do I love this little guy!!

He just went potty for the first time on the potty!!

 Brayden has a new obsession with Mickey Mouse!! He calls him Mouse and can spot him anywhere like the top of the racks at Lowes there was a blow up Mickey and he loved it!! He found a Mickey doll in the Christmas section at Lowes and loved it too!! Donny and I are hoping Mickey Mouse movies help us to make it to Minnesota this weekend!! Time will soon tell!!

 I called daycare yesterday to set up a few things and the lady that answered the phone made my whole day. She had spent the morning in Brayden's room as one of the teachers and she took the time to tell me a story and how much she enjoys spending time with Brayden. As a mom I often wonder if I made the right decision with the daycare and working and the whole thing, and yesterday I felt pretty good about our decisions. She told me that my little blanket boy got up from lunch and got everyone's blankets and passed them out to all of the kids for nap time!! Isn't that the sweetest story ever!! She also said that he picked up a little girls cup during lunch when she dropped it!! Love that little guy so much!!

 He rolled his ball under the tree and Donny and I told him to go get it, sure enough he did, and was so careful too!!

He just had to put my boots on this am. They are as tall as his legs, he tried to walk, only made it a few steps and he was done!!
