Some Good News Maybe?

Well, I think I can almost say Brayden is potty trained!! He has been doing pretty good lately and even gets annoyed when we ask him if he needs to go potty!! I guess that is good news!! He makes it through the night every night and I will hopefully soon quit with diapes 100%!!

It was so funny at the store yesterday Brayden and I were looking at some kid clothes and he found a onsie for a baby with cars on it that he thought he needed, I told him he was too big for that and another lady said "are you a big boy?' to him and his response was "I wear big boy underwear if you needed to know" very loudly and everyone in the store laughed. She praised him and made his day!!

Brayden has a new obsession with sunglasses, and loves to wear who evers he finds!! It is so cute, I need to find him a cute pair of kid sunglasses that are a little more trendy and not so kiddish!! He will be styling for summer this year!!

A Bully?

Today we were grocery shopping because we are suppose to get a bunch of snow and I didn't want to go on Wednesday! We usually do this on Wednesday's then go to lunch with daddy, and my child of routine thought that was today's plan too!! We called daddy and he agreed to meet us for lunch so disaster averted!! While at McDonalds he was playing in the playland and saw a little boy with dirty socks and he said "your socks are icky" to him, the little boy turned around and hit him, not hard, but hit him!! Brayden who saw me watching walked away from the boy and said under his breath "he lucky hes little"!! Really, I guess he was and I do always tell him to extra nice to little kids, but really?? Am I going to have a little bully on my hands!! He usually is very nice to other kids because he just likes to play with them, but he doesn't like to be hit I guess!!! Only Brayden has BIRTHDAYS!?!

Well, this weekend we have an extended one with the three of us. Everyone had Friday off for my birthday this year!! Brayden and I went to Open Gym at Energym with some friends and out to lunch and Daddy worked on the plumbing in the basement then we had cake and went shopping!! It was a good day except for my little guy truly thinks that only he has birthdays!! I am pretty sure he was mad at me all day and peed in his pants 3 times to get back at me!! Yesterday he did perfect all day and even told me when he needed to go potty!! Who knows with this little guy! We made a birthday cake on Friday and it was a pink cake for mommy with blue frosting for Brayden!! He loved the cake and was proud of himself for making it and got lots of taste of the batter!

Right now Brayden is very color oriented and thinks certain colors are for girls and certain colors are for boys. Donny hada little purple on his socks and he kept telling him to "Take off mommy's socks"!

 He tries to reach the handle in the car now?

 Just waking up a little groggy!!

 Not happy about his haircut!! I took this picture and showed it to him, and he straightened up pretty quick!! Silly boy, he said "I look so sad mommy"!!

 His new favorite thing to do is to antagonize the dog, poor puppy getting back everything he has ever done!!



Silly Little Guy

Brayden is still potty training and it feels like it has been forever, I have had so many minutes that I feel like I should just put him back in diapers and be done with this, but then he gives me a glimpse that he can do!! This boils down to a control issue, and he still has the upper hand and is the only one that can control this!!! He knows that for sure!!! This is definitely one of the most tedious and timely thing we have had to master yet!! It is giving me a glimpse into the future for sure!! We spend lots of time in the house right now in shirts, underwear and socks for this reason!!

Brayden and the dog!! Well, Brayden has been tormenting the dog to death, he chases him, sits on him, locks him in a bedroom, and whatever else he can do to him!! I truly believe he does this so he has a playmate, but poor Moe!!

This is what my organized little guy does with all of him toys!! His toys must be in a category to him and they must stay with only other toys that are similar. He has monster trucks, first movie Cars, second movie Cars, Nascars, Hotwheels and who know what else, but they can't intermix!! Then he lines them up in straight lines that can all the way across the floor sometimes!!

 He got stuck in the chair, and we laughed so he kept trying to make this happen again!!

 This is my cuddly snugly little guy!! Every morning he wakes up and if he sees me it usually means I am home for the day and he says "I want to cuddle you"!!! How can you turn that down!! He woke up early one morning and I was suppose to be up getting ready for work, but once he said that I was stuck and didn't want to go to work!!



BOWLING FUN!!

I just love all of the new things that we can do with Brayden this winter. The list is endless. He listens so much better and his attention span is longer so we can do just about anything but a fancy dinner (which is fine by me)!!! Every few weeks we are trying something new with him so he doesn't g et bored and he amazes us every time!! I just love it, and one of my favorite parts is hearing his memory, he can tell me all about what we did or what we are going to do and he gets so excited!!

We went bowling with some friends last night and as you will see he enjoyed it!! We brought the Ipad for inbetween turns and he did really well!! I hope we can continue to come up with new things for him to try!!!

While Mom is Away, the BOYS will PLAY!!!

While I was at Aunt Carrie's baby sprinkle the boys went to the Caterpillar Museum in Peoria!! They were all so excited, I couldn't decided who wanted to go the most!!! As you will be able to tell in the pictures they all had fun climbing in the big tractors and being awed by the size of the machines!! Donny and my dad learned more than they ever wanted to know about each of the tractors and both of them are still talking about them today!!

On the way down to my parents I was trying to explain to Brayden that his PAPA was my daddy, and he told me "I not sharing my PAPA with you!!" I guess he is PAPA's boy!! The boys took a few pictures for me so here goes!!

It looks like they had a lot of fun!!! The three of them always find something fun to do while mommy is not with them!!! I have some catching up to do for sure!!!
