Don't Leave him Alone for a Second

The other day I was finishing up laundry and walked out of the laundry room to put a few things away and came back to find Brayden had climbed in the dryer!! Really, he said that he "wanted to know what it looked like inside"!! What a funny kid. I am not sure how he climbed up there by himself, but he managed it somehow!!

We are still working on potty training, and for some reason he does really well with me, and just pretty good for everyone else like daddy and school!! I am so use to him playing me and doing so much better with everyone else I can't figure it out, but overall he is doing really well. He is getting so big and communicating very well so I have high hopes for being DONE soon!!!

I took Brayden to the doctor on Wednesday because he was coughing so bad and draining from his nose awful too!! He sat on the table like such a big boy while we were waiting!! I couldn't believe it, then when the doctor walked in he of course wanted me to hold him!! It works out better when I hold him anyway. She asked him how old he was and he gave her the whole story about going to "Mickey's house for his birthday on an airplane" They talked about it for a few minutes and from then on out he was all hers. He opened his mouth for her to look in, he let her listen to his lungs, and look in his ears!! He took her stethoscope and listened to her lungs?!? and played with her Pluto pin on her lab coat!! When he left there was a baby crying and he ran out of the room and asked them "Where that sad baby, I need help him"!! He is such a sweetie pie!!

I gave Brayden his Valentine cupcake a day early because I work on Valentine's Day and he was so excited. It was huge so he didn't even put a dent in it but he loved it and was one big green mess afterwards!! He thought it was his birthday cake it was so big, and of course it is always about his birthday these days!! We made Valentine bags for his class today with stickers, snacks and Valentines!! He signed all of the Valentines but could of really cared less!! I guess I liked it more than he did!! Might as well get use to that because I am sure that will be the case for many more things in the future!

Last Tumbling Class

We had Brayden's last tumbling class today, and since we won't be doing it over the next few weeks due to my schdule being kind of different at work I thought I would post a few pictures!! He was the only boy in the class of 5 people and doesn't like the stretching part, but loves the obstacle course, or running around like a crazy kid!!! He can do a somersault all by himself, he tries cartwheels and actually does pretty good and ofcourse the kid can jump, jump off of anything over something or anything else they ask!! He had a lot of fun in the class!! He got a ribbon at the end of the class today and he was so excited about it!!! I tried to get a picture of it, but he was so fast that it didn't really turn out!!
Lately Brayden has been chasing the dog all around the house with a monster truck! He doesn't want the dog to sleep and is constantly yelling for me and searching the house for him!! Today I got a picture of Brayden laying on the dog like when he was a newborn!! It was so sweet!!

When he was new born, look at the size difference.

SNOW DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Donny went out to shovel the drive way and Brayden decided that playing in the snow must be fun!! He is usually not a fan of being cold so I got him all dressed up to go outside. We had a few meltdowns in the few minutes it took to get ready to play outside, but we just going. He doesn't like snow pants, he doesn't like boots, he doesn't like hats and the list could go on and on... The good news is we made it outside, it was short lived (which is good for me), I got some cute pictures, and he had a lot of fun!!! He made his first SNOW ANGEL which he liked to look at after, he made some snow balls or at least threw ones that Donny and I made for him, and got some energy out shoveling the driveway!!
He made it about 20 minutes and then asked to go in!! It was perfect!! We are not sure we will ever be skiing or snowboarding but we had fun while it lasted!!!

The Joys of Learning Patience...

Let me just start by saying that Brayden is doing a good job potty training as long as I take him to the potty every couple of hours, but my patience are running shorter trying to figure out when he will finally tell me when he needs to go!!! Let me share with everyone a few of the funny/patient pushing things we have went through over the past week or so that I can remember...
1. This morning Brayden said "Look at this" and peed all over the carpet!!
2. Saturday morning Brayden woke up with a dry diaper like usual, headed into the bathroom took down him pants and said "I need my little one back, this one is big, Mommy where did my little one go" He got on the potty went potty and said "Yeah my little one back"!! Oh goodness!!!
3. Everytime he goes to the potty he thinks it is birthday and we are heading to Mickey's House!!
4. He sometimes goes to the bathroom and then 10 minutes later pees in his pants!
5. He wants a present everytime he goes pee in the potty!
6. He loves to pee in public and see the bathroom, he frequently has to go twice to every bathroom he tries out!! He also loves to flush them which means touch the potty!! YUCKY!!!
7. He loves to tell everyone about his big boy underwear and who is on them (usually Lightening McQueen of course)!!
8. Does really well in public and with friends and even goes a little longer than normal!!
9. He sits backwards on the toilet and taught his girl cousins to do it too!!
10. Ofcourse he loves the show after going potty on the potty that he gets!! He loves the praise and excitement and frequently tells us "I love it"

Well, I can obviously not say that I am the best potty trainer in the world, but I can say I have learned alot once again and am ready to move on to something else!!!
We went to some friends house last night for the superbowl and played with some kids and took a few pictures!! They also gave Brayden his first ice cream cone and he did really good!! I was impressed!!

Cold weather, First Monster Trucks, Ice Cream...

Well my little guy is still working on potty training, but I have to say he is stubborn just like me, so I didn't expect it to go quick!! He is doing really good and I am proud of him, but this week the presents are going to become harder to get.
Brayden, PAPA, and daddy went to see "The Monster Jam" yesterday and Brayden loved it!! They said that he couldn't take his eyes off of them once it started. We have been playing lots of moster trucks over the last few days getting ready!!!

On the coldest day so far Brayden decided that he wanted to get ice cream at the icecream store!! So we set out and made our little sundaes and we had to eat them there!! He wanted both of our icecreams and was feeding us!!

Our first snow!!! He wanted to play in it, but didn't want to put boots or snowpants on so it only lasted about 10 minutes, but he had lots of fun!! He was loving having some of his outside toys to play with for a little bit!!

Trying out bowling, we are thinking we should try the real thing pretty soon!!! He gets it I am just afraid that he will run down the lane!!!
