4th of July

Brayden loved the fireworks!! He didn't mind the noise at all and loved sitting underneath them with all of the colors!! We first went to the park and found that Brayden wasn't going to sit on a blanket for a picnic for any reason!! So went to a friends house and then walked back to the truck during the fireworks!! The fireworks show was amazing!!

We also went to Grandma Pam's pool on Friday during our 100 degree day stretch and let Brayden try it out!! He did really good, at first he wanted to be held, but it didn't take long till he was jumping into the water, riding on floats and trying to float and swim!! This kid doesn't have the natural thing they say babies have to float!! He would sink quick!! By the end of a hour, he was letting daddy hold him and jump in!!

Not loving the Heat!!

Today I tried to get Brayden outside for the 4th of July parade in our neighborhood and we finally got out there and he told me "Back inside MaMa!" I guess he not loving this heat so much anymore!!

 Donny started working on the basement again, and Brayden continues to be his little helper!! He loves tools for sure!!

Lately Brayden thinks that all he needs to eat is cookies and cupcakes!! He is pretty sure that survival is based on only those two things!! He will want to skip dinner  and just eat those!! We are working with him currently but are afraid that maybe the only fix is to not  have any in the house!! Donny would die for sure!! He is not very good at the art of compromise, so I have some work to do!! Wish me luck, I am going to need it!

A Great Weekend with lots of Little Ones!!!

This is how our day ended on Friday with my little guy, Alexis, and Andrew all in the back seat of Donny's truck!! Yeah, all three car seats fit perfectly in the back seat!! It was challenging to get them all in, but because his truck is huge it worked!! Thanks to Donny for figuring out this one!!! Brayden sat inbetween the two kids and held Andrew's hand and gave him puffs and a drink, a toy and just tried to entertain him during an hour drive!! My little guy is growing up, he is learning to share his mommy, his toys and everything else!! I am so proud of him!!

We had both of our nephews on Sunday and Monday and again Brayden did very well with them!! He played and played and enjoyed being around them and not always having mommy so close!! I think that weekends like this will continue to give us lots of great memories!! Thanks everyone for letting me borrow your kids! Hope to do it again soon.

Me with 3 Kids!! Are you Ready!!

Well, today I took on having three children for the day. Two two year olds and a 10 month old!! We had so much fun!! We played outside, watched it rain, made and frosted cupcakes, and ate lots of snacks! The biggest accomplishment for the day was getting all three kids down for a nap at the same time!!  During nap time I was able to get the house cleaned up from all of the fun that we have!! I took tons of pictures of all of them and they were so cute and played so well together!!! These kids are all so special to us and I was so lucky that they were all as good as they were!! I sure hope I or Brayden did not teach them any bad habits!!! Here are a few pictures from today, these don't even show the start of this wonderful day!!

Loving Summer Time!!

Brayden continues to love summer!! He loves walking around barefoot, wearing just a diaper, going to the swimming pool, and playing outside ofcourse!! He is starting to not like being HOT outside and will come inside for cooling down sometimes!! Which means that I don't have to fight him quite so bad to come inside!! We went grocery shopping today just him and I and he was so good he got to pick a treat  out and that made his day!!

Today at the grocery store Brayden picked out a few snacks for his big day on Friday. Some friends of mine are leaving the kids with me for the day and Brayden has a few things he would like to do for fun on Friday!! It should be a fun filled day!! Who knows if we will get to do all of things he has planned!! More pictures to come for sure!!

Tractor with Dessa!

2 year old pictures, better late than never

We did Brayden's 2 year old pictures today!! They were challenging and fun at the same time. The poor photographer, it took 2 adults to keep up with this kid and take pictures!! The photographers are a married couple with 4 kids and say that none of their kids had this much energy!! She sent me a sneak peak already and so far they are so cute!! I can't wait till next Wednesday when I get to see them all!! He decided today that he liked his hat, not sure if it was because it blocked the sun well, or kept him cooler but he kept going back to the hat!too
We had a pretty low key Father's Day!! Daddy worked in the yard most of the day and did things he hadn't really had time to do!! Brayden got to play in his water table, and again had no fear of getting wet!! He also helped Daddy wash his truck and loved every second of getting sprayed with the hose. Brayden and I walked down to the pond and scared away the geese because there were like a hundred of them!! He loved that too and did so good walking and holding my hand!! (Still needs work but better than expected)
