I think we could get use to Summer

Well the weather has been amazing, we just wish we had more time to enjoy it!!!! Ice cream, Popsicles, eating outside, grilling out, playing outside, swimming, all of those things are part of our daily routines it seems like!! Nolan possibly had Hand, Foot, and Moth this week. We aren't really sure, he handled it like a champ so we didn't go to the doctor to see!!! He ate and drank normal, but had some fussy moments, but he's getting 3 teeth too so take your pick!!! He's starting to talk so well, he amazes me everyday with his vocabulary!! He loves is to sing songs with hand motions so he can join in!! He knows most of his body parts, and follows directions!!  He has not had his 18 month appointment yet, but it's coming up, and I can't wait to get his stats!!! He still likes his morning naps at time, and actually slept in his teachers arms twice this week, of course they couldn't put him down but cuddles are the best!! We took Popsicles to school this week for the class, and they were a big hit!! A fun treat for the kids is important!!! 

Brayden picked up a new hobby this week with grandma Pam!! Garage saling is his new favorite past time!! We learned a lesson, send him with small amounts of money!! We gave him $20 and he came home with tons and $8.50!! According to him he hit the jackpot!!! Lol Donny and I were dying!! Grandma and Sharon were tired after trying to keep up with him all day!! He also ate an entire 10 piece chicken nugget meal which amazed them!!' It's crazy how much he can eat and he has even lost 1 pound this summer with all of his sports playing!!! Sharon was a school teacher for many years and she told us that Brayden is well prepared for First grade so that was great to hear!!! I'm still in denial that first grade is coming!!!

I wish it was Always SUMMER!!!

The boys have been so much fun so far this summer!!! They love to be outside, and so we have learned, they have no fears!!! Well, I guess that is wrong because Brayden has been begging to go off the high dive, Donny let him climb up and he climbed back down, a little too high I guess!!! But he loves everything else at the pool!!  Our last spring soccer game was yesterday!!! It was a great season for all!!! The kids played as a team, scored a lot of goals, and had a lot of fun!!! The weather was good, Nolan enjoyed watching, just an all around good season!!

Brayden has been begging us to take him to the Bahamas, he wants to stay at the Atlantis and go down the Leap of Faith water slide!! He watches a YouTube channel that took their family there and now he is obsessed!!! Guess one of  our future family vacation will include there!!! Better start passports now!!! Lol!!

Brayden finished his second week of YMCA camp and still loves it!! They keep him busy, with kids his age, and are not afraid of a little dirt!!! Any 6 year old dream for sure!!! He also loves his grandma day at Bingo, where he won this week and was pretty pumped about his free candy bar!! Then he gets lunch and cousin time!!!

School's OUT for the SUMMER!!!!

Well schools out for the summer, I officially have a first grader!!!! It's been a great year, and I can't believe how fast it went!!! Brayden had a field trip to the pool, a color run, and alphabet days to enjoy his last month!! He did so awesome over the past year!! I dropped him off on his last day, and just watching him walk away from me to play with his friends was heartbreaking and amazing at the same time!!! He has confidence that I have not seen in him before!!! He's growing up right before my eyes!! He went to the YMCA camp last week and had so much fun, he can't wait to go back!! Luckily it was a good decision this time!! 

Nolan is 18 months and growing just as fast!!! He is starting to play by himself and not needing us to carry him all the time!! He loves to be outside and wants to help daddy now the lawn, he watches him every time!!! Too bad we don't need a rider anymore because Nolan would of loved it!! He is talking like crazy, repeating words like crazy!! He tells me his friends name every time I drop him off at daycare!! Nolan is at such a fun age, we can take him anywhere with planning involved, and he is usually happy, he interacts with others as long as we are close by! He loves to play and rough house with his brother already, and already wants everything Brayden has!!! Brayden usually gives up and gives him what he wants!! He is such a good big brother!! He gets down to his level and talks to him to help him or persuade him to do what he wants him to do!! It's amazing to see the love that they have for each other!!!

Last weekend we took the boys to Lake Geneva with some friends! They had a blast in the sand!! It was a rainy icky morning and we drove up there scared at what the afternoon would bring and it really was a beautiful day!! This weekend Brayden had an awesome soccer game! It was 85 degrees at 8:30, but he was tough!! He scored 4 goals and played well with his team!!! We then went to the pool, well I took the boys while Donny helped a friend. Brayden had been asking to go so I figured why not it if was going to be 90 degrees!!! We met friends there and the kids had a blast!! Brayden is quite the swimmer, he has been wanting to do the big slides and the diving board which he did and did great!! He tried everything but the high dive, because I would not let him!!! Nolan played in the kiddie pool, went down the slide without a fear even head first and then asked for more!!! In the big pool Nolan held on tight to me!!!

Well so far we have had a great summer and hope to have many more memories coming!!! Here are some pictures of all of our fun!
