Getting Bored...

Well we are getting sick of this cold weather and are ready for Spring!! Today we were bored and decided we would just play with every toy we could find for just a moment!! First we tried letters and numbers and it was very quickly Brayden was distracted, then we tried Chutes and Ladders!! That was interesting, of course we all know he was the winner and HE CHEATS!!! We jumped on the trampoline with no hands... spun in circles and got dizzy, we played trains on the train table, we colored and not sure what else but that was our afternoon!!! Bring on the warm weather please!!!!

 

 This was our after a haircut picture!! This is the first time that he had no whining, no tears, and no complaining!! He actually smiled during his haircut and afterwards he whispered in my ear that he liked that girl that cut his hair!! This time I put him on the chair and stepped out of his sight and those of you that said he would do better without me there were right!! He could of cared less it was happening!! Mom once again makes it worse!! LOL!!

First Friend Birthday Party

Brayden had his first friend birthday party yesterday and loved it!! Two little boys from his class were there and they just chased each other around and around. There was a huge climbing place with a ball pit, video games, and even a few carnival rides. And of course there was pizza and cake!! The perfect day for 3-4 year old little boys!! We have another party in two weeks at the bowling alley so more pictures to come!!

 

Brayden got his first Nerf gun for Christmas from PAPA and grandma, and daddy opened it one day when I was getting ready so when I walked out I got hit. This gun shoots darts and is battery powered so 18 darts come out very quick!! He loves us to chase him around the house and try and get him while he tries to block us with his shield!!

 His favorite game now is to put something behind his back and have us pick a hand!! We have to pick each hand like 3 times each before we can pick both hands and finally see what he had behind his back!!

 Surprise its the JOKER!!!!

We got a little Sunshine...

On Monday this week it was 40 degrees out, and normally that does not feel warm to me, but since it had been so cold it did and we decided to take advantage of it and go for a walk!! Brayden didn't want anything to do with getting his feet wet because of the snow melting everywhere he wanted to ride in the stroller!! It was great to be outside even if it was short-lived.

 

 Brayden has a new obsession, and it is Skylanders!!! He loves them, and can't wait for his Skylanders birthday party! He wants to get them all, and there are a ton!!! He got his first one from his aunt Karshawn for Christmas and she will forever be his favorite for the best Christmas present ever!!! He is already asking when his birthday is so he start getting ready for the big party!!! He wants to invite all of his friends and school friends to this birthday party!! I guess this mom needs to do some research on Skylanders to have a party full of it!! He tells me now frequently throughout the day that his birthday is MAY 16th!!

His favorite way to shop!! We can only go to two grocery stores in DeKalb because they have little carts for him to shop!! The best part is he always sneaks something into the cart just for him!! It sure does complicate grocery shopping for me though!! Trying to keep close by and still getting what I need!! Luckily we can go grocery shopping when other people don't go!! 

Our first trip with Brayden to Red Lobster!! He did really well with a new Skylander to buy mommy and daddy a relaxing dinner of course!! He loved the lobster tank!! They brought a lobster out for him to see and although he wouldn't touch it he sure did like the waitress putting toothpicks in its claws and watching it want to get away!! He also loved the cookie and ice-cream that he got after he ate his dinner!! It is great to be able to take him anywhere!!!

Snow Storm and Freezing Cold

 

Well it is literally the coldest I have ever felt today. They say that it is -50 wind-chill!! I wouldn't know because I did not even attempt to experience it. They closed Donny's work so we all had a long weekend. We are waiting to hear if things will open back up tomorrow. I will be bearing the cold to go to work tomorrow!! YUCKY!!! I took a few pictures of Donny outside snow blowing, it looks like we have about a foot of snow, just blowing so much it is drifting pretty bad!!

Brayden and I played inside, skylanders, batman, Planes, and whatever else looked like fun!!

 I guess when I said he could have brownies later, he couldn't wait!! This is what I found him doing all by himself!! He was so proud of himself,  I guess it was really important!!

 



We TRIED....

We TRIED to build a snowman!! We have tons of snow and it finally warmed up to almost 30 degrees so I thought we would try it!! It DID NOT work. The snow would not even pack into a snowball!! We still had fun playing though!!! Brayden loves to eat the snow!!! He loves to hold it and feel how cold it is too!! He was so funny out there. He crawled around and dug in the 18 inch high drifts we had, and tried to sink to the ground through all the snow too! He made "Snow Brayden's", threw snow at mommy and wanted to bury me in the snow!! We didn't even make it an hour!!
