Merry Christmas!!!

Well, we had another amazing Christmas!! Brayden got tons of toys, and we got to spend lots of time with family!! We are so very fortunate!! I think that one of Brayden's favorite Christmas presents were Skylanders!! He is really enjoying learning to play the Wii and watch daddy play the Wii!! The Wii is also finally getting some use!! He also is loving his Power Rangers, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, and Super Hero stuff! Really he loves everything!! He got so much stuff after 36 !! He was so surprised at how much stuff he really got!! He even talked daddy into taking an extra day off so he had a full week to play with all of his toys!! Lucky little guy, who loves his days away from school!! Here he is playing with a few of his new toys!!

Christmas Festivities Begin!

We had our first Christmas, and once again presents are something Brayden can not just sit around and look it. He talked Aunt Karshawn into giving him a Skylander off the front of a present pretty quick! He got so excited when it came to opening presents he could hardly contain himself!! I can't wait to see him Christmas morning!!
He also went to see Santa, and to our surprise he sat on his lap. He didn't really talk to him and really he completely froze, but he sat on his lap for a picture so we were happy!! Of course he told Santa he wanted different things than he told us, but I am sure Santa will remember everything he wants for Christmas!!
We got our snow today, and it is looking like we will have a cold white Christmas!! Couldn't ask for a better holiday!! Getting so excited!!!

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!!!

Well, we are in full Christmas Spirit at the Adams' House!! We are singing Christmas Carols, making Christmas crafts, and finishing up our Christmas shopping. Today I turned on the radio and Grandma got Run Over by a Reindeer came on the radio, Brayden thought it was hilarious and sang just a quick part for Grandmas!! Hilarious, I use to sing that to my grandmas when I was little and think it was the funniest thing in the world!!

Special Christmas project of the week was a gingerbread house!! Such a fun project for kids to do and use their imagination! He needed help with the frosting (He called it glue), but otherwise it was all him!! We had to add some M&M's because he didn't think there was enough candy to decorate his house!!! He did a great job!! I can't wait to do this every year and compare!!

He is learning to make faces!! This makes an interesting lunch!!
Snowmen crafting!! Designing his own snowmen from foam stickers!! Gotta love it!! These stickers create hours of entertainment at my house, and some really cute artwork if I say so myself!!

We have snow on the ground, which makes it feel even more like Christmas!! Brayden actually likes the snow this year, and begged to go out to play when we he saw all of his snow stuff. It was really cold that night so Daddy only had to go out for a few minutes and pull him on the sled!!

Embarassing starts already

The past two days Brayden has started doing what I call the "potty dance" to try and delay a trip to the bathroom! It makes me crazy!! My sister in law had this with her boys and she was forever making them go to the bathroom to prevent an accident, and I see myself going in the same direction. Today I told him to go to the bathroom after dancing like a crazy boy and he said to me "Mom you need to stop embarrassing me, it embarrasses me when you say that!" Really he has no idea what embarrassing is does he? When I asked him what embarrassed meant, he got really red in the face, maybe he does know what it means!! Who would of thought that I would embarrass my little guy so early!!! I will try to get a video of the "potty dance" he does, then everyone will understand!

Fun TImes

It's cold outside, and we are trying our best to make the best of it. We went to dinner and a movie with friends, Christmas shopped, his school holiday party, and decorated for Christmas. Brayden seems to like the snow this year, but hasn't had much further interest in it than watching it from inside!
At the movie "Frozen" Brayden talked daddy into the 2014 popcorn bucket!! He ate popcorn all day today left over from last night. Brayden liked the movie, and do did mommy!! He also enjoyed hanging out with his friends!! More play dates to come for sure!!
Here's to hoping we find lots of fun these to fill our time this winter!!!
