Brayden loves his cousins

One of my biggest suprises as a mother was watching Brayden's older cousins, age 13 and 7.5 now, and how they interact with him and how much they like him!! It is amazing to watch and Brayden eats up all of the attention that he can. This week was the boys spring break so we saw them a couple of times. On monday I picked Brayden up from daycare and he was in a bad mood cause they woke him up from his nap. I picked him up and he was happy to see me but didn't fully come out of it till I told him we were going to see the boys!! Today we went bowling with them and Brayden likes to bowl but didn't last quite as long as they did but he liked just hanging out with them!!

 Brayden over the past week has started using hitting as a ways to release frustration!! I know he is not the child to ever do this, but I am not liking it at all and will be working on stopping this quickly!!

He is very into to telling us stories about anything and everything. We can ask him about school and he tells us about "playing with his friends" and even what they learned about that day!! I love watching him get excited about his day!! He hardly ever stops talking and can always find something to talk about, it is never-ending fun when he is around!!

 He said I want to wear my sunglasses like daddy!!

 Some mornings he just wants to be by me when I get ready, today was one of those days and he found the blow dryer to be lots of fun and he liked it even more when he realized the mirror was there!!

Naked again? Oh my!! 

This Age is better everyday!!

Brayden is getting closer to 3 every day!! He is so much fun, has such a personality, and does new things all the time!! This week I have noticed that when he watches TV that he answers the questions that they ask the kids and really knows what is going on on the TV!! He also can actually play the follow along stories on his IPAD too!!

He also watched Oso show a little boy how to ride a scooter and now he rides his scooter around the house really well!! he even tries to teach us to ride it!! That can be funny!!!

I think I can safely say that Brayden is fully potty trained!! We have not had an accident in a long time, he is doing really good at telling us when he has to go!! Then he bargains with us to make sure he can sit backwards on the toilet!!

We had some good friends over this week and colored Easter Eggs and went out to lunch, it was a goo time!! Brayden loves to have people over at his house and usually even does pretty well sharing his toys!!

Brayden prefers at this point to wear underwear and socks only! He does not like to have clothes on and takes off anything he can when at home!!

POTTY TRAINED!!!!

Well, I think I can finally say that Brayden is potty trained!! He has went for over 10 days without an accident!! He sometimes even tells us he has to go to the bathroom every day minutes just to bug us, like at bed time!! He is doing so good, we are so proud of him!!

This week we spent 3 days at my mom and dad's taking care of Maddie and Isabella while their mommy was at the hospital having our new littlest guy Eli!! He is a big boy and sleeping well so far and getting ready to go home to a crazy house with two more kids!! While the girls were hanging out with Brayden and I we played and played and ate all of the things they never get!! We are for sure going to be in big trouble when they get home with their mom and dad!! All in a day's work!! The kids got along very well for the first two days, but the third morning they were starting to get on each other's nerves, it was like they were brothers and sisters!! Brayden was ready to be an only child again I think!! We did arts and crafts, made a BIRTH day cake for Eli, played with all of our new toys and played outside because it was 50 degrees!! We had so much and were sad to leave!! Here a few pictures of all of the fun we had!!

Came home and helped daddy paint our bedroom!! He thought that was fun!!

Some Good News Maybe?

Well, I think I can almost say Brayden is potty trained!! He has been doing pretty good lately and even gets annoyed when we ask him if he needs to go potty!! I guess that is good news!! He makes it through the night every night and I will hopefully soon quit with diapes 100%!!

It was so funny at the store yesterday Brayden and I were looking at some kid clothes and he found a onsie for a baby with cars on it that he thought he needed, I told him he was too big for that and another lady said "are you a big boy?' to him and his response was "I wear big boy underwear if you needed to know" very loudly and everyone in the store laughed. She praised him and made his day!!

Brayden has a new obsession with sunglasses, and loves to wear who evers he finds!! It is so cute, I need to find him a cute pair of kid sunglasses that are a little more trendy and not so kiddish!! He will be styling for summer this year!!

A Bully?

Today we were grocery shopping because we are suppose to get a bunch of snow and I didn't want to go on Wednesday! We usually do this on Wednesday's then go to lunch with daddy, and my child of routine thought that was today's plan too!! We called daddy and he agreed to meet us for lunch so disaster averted!! While at McDonalds he was playing in the playland and saw a little boy with dirty socks and he said "your socks are icky" to him, the little boy turned around and hit him, not hard, but hit him!! Brayden who saw me watching walked away from the boy and said under his breath "he lucky hes little"!! Really, I guess he was and I do always tell him to extra nice to little kids, but really?? Am I going to have a little bully on my hands!! He usually is very nice to other kids because he just likes to play with them, but he doesn't like to be hit I guess!!!
