Playing with TOYS!!

Bryaden was a very lucky little guy this Christmas season and got lots and lots of toys to play with!! I have caught him playing with a few of them over the last few days!! He is loving having all these new toys and I am going to try and put a few of them away so arond February or so he will think he got new toys again!! We will see if it happens!!

He will only wear my hat to go outside!!!

Christmas 2012

Christmas was a blast this year!! I am not sure who was excited Brayden or myself!! I had to wake him up at 8:15 because I couldn't wait anymore. He wasn't quite ready to go so he said to me "I trying to wake up mommy, but it is hard" then he kept telling me "I still tyring"!! He finally got up and was at awe of all of the presents!! He started ripping into them and it was over from there!! It took a while to get through all of the presents, he also opened half of daddy's too, and had a few breaks for a piece of candy from  his stocking, he wanted to open every present he touched and we just kept telling him keep going. I can't quite figure out what present was his favorite!! He has quite a few!! He got a Lightening McQueen power wheel, an IPad (or phone he calls it), monster trucks, cars and everything else a little boy could want!!! He got tons of tons of stuff (see the picture below I tried to fit everything into one picture so good luck seeng it all!!)

This morning Brayden woke up and yelled for me like usual and I went in like usual and I hear: "Mommy, I love my presents but why do they come in boxes, it takes to long to play with them"!! I can't help but think that if this is the worst of our problems we are doing pretty good!! I am not sure where he comes up with the stuff he does, but I love never knowing what is coming next!!!

 Well, I hope that everyone had a Merry Christmas and were as lucky as we were to spend so much time with family!!! Time to get ready for the New Year!!!



Getting Ready for Christmas....or Happy Halloween

Brayden woke up this morning and said "happy Halloween Mommy, when is Santa coming?" I reminded him that it was "Merry Christmas" That we said and he told me that he ate all of Santa's cookies like the shirt grandma and grandpa got him last year!! He cracks me up!!!

We are having Christmas at our house tonight with Donny's family so I brought down presents to put under the tree for the first time and also gave him his ornaments to open to he didn't feel left out because none of the presents were for him!! It worked kept him content that he got to open them!! He has no idea what he is in for with Christmas, and next year I have a feeling he will remember everything about this year and will be counting the days!!

This week Brayden became an expert at somersaults and he tries to do them everywhere even chairs, couches, pillows, he often gets stuck because he doesn't give himself enough room. Brayden and I and a friend of mine are going to take a mommy and me tumbling class in January, which should be fun!! They don't offer any sports classes on Monday or Wednesday's so this will have to do to entertain us a little through winter!!

I was trying to get Brayden to put away some of his toys in preparation for the new toys he is about to get and I ended up with every toy he could find from when he was a baby on his bedroom floor. He was having so much fun playing with his toys he hasn't seen in a while I didn't have the heart to take them away. We need to teach him about donating toys quick!!!

Obsessed!!

Brayden is obsessed with our cell phones and today our cell phones got him in to get a haircut and sit like a big boy!! I left the hair cut place without hair all over me and being completely sticky from the suckers that he attempted to eat!!

Today I tried to get a picture of Brayden in front of the Christmas tree and this is what I got!! A crazy jumping kid!!

 He found the musical instruments that he got for his first birthday and played for at least an hour!! He was singing and playing drums, guitar, shakers, and bells!! It was GREAT!!

 Look at that smile, a friend of Donny's brought over a tow truck and told him that they have lots more to see. He is ready to go to the tow truck store and see what else he can find!!

Brayden is becoming quite the good little shopper and has been doing quite a bit of Christmas shopping and even gives him opinions on what we are buying. Today went to find presents for his new teachers, since he just switched rooms, and he picked them out all by himself and spent a few minutes making sure they all matched. He carried the bag, we were at Bath and Body Works so it was kind of heavy!! Then he told that lady that checked up out "please be nice my presents, they are for my teachers!" He was so excited and proud of himself for all of his hard work!! It was so sweet to see him wanting to give something to someone else.  

It's been a while!

Well, its been a while since I have updated the blog, I reached my limit for pictures and I didn't have the time to try and figure out what to do next!!! I got it now and have tons of pictures to post of my little cutie!!
He is getting so big, so fast, I can't believe it. He is growing taller by the minute and we just bought him 3T pants to go with the 3T shirts he has been wearing. He is talking up a storm. I swear he talks from the second he wakes up till the second he falls asleep!! He picks up words like "bummer", "cliff", "mountain", he told me the other day that "I going to work, somebody gotta do it", everytime we go to the store he tells us "I don't want Santa to come, I just want presents now"! He has no idea what he is for at Christmas
He loves to color and put stickers on paper, he also likes to admire his work. He doesn't forget anything so you have to keep everything because he will look for it again and again. He still loves monster trucks and cars but he is also really liking dinosaurs too along with everything else he sees!!
Donny and I are so excited for Christmas, he is going to be shocked when he wakes up that am and sees all of the presents!!
He is fun to go to the store with because he loves to browse around and look at all the toys, he usually tells us he needs to take some home but no fits when we say no at least!!
We have been working on potty training and he is doing ok, but I am having a hard time getting him to empty his bladder so he needs to pee every 15 mintues so he gets annoyed real quick!! We are slowly progressing and don't expect anything for a little while still. He can be a stinker!!

Bounce House!!

We went to the Bounce place again this week with some friends!! The kids had so much fun as usual!! Brayden had so much fun this time that he came home and made his own bounce house at our house with our couch and all of the cushions through our whole living room!! It was so funny, and cute!! I just love that he can pretend play and it is real to him which makes it even better!! I am trying to convince Donny that Brayden needs some sort of jumpy thing for Christmas, but it is not working well so far! He doesn't want it in the house or outside!!

One of the best parts of the day was how excited Brayden was to go from the second he woke up!! He woke up and told me I was "The best mommy ever!!" He just kept saying it and I got it on tape so I will haunt him with that for a while!! I have no idea where he got it, but he can be such a sweet little man sometimes!!
