King of the world, he thinks

I am unfortunately able to say that Brayden is starting to master the crawl in a straight line that is. He has not figured out how to go around things but still gets mad when he can't make it over something. I looked in his mouth yesterday and found that he is getting 2 more teeth. They have not broken through yet, but I see little blisters with while under them. He is doing really well with them even when sleeping. He is still sleeping through the night for us and that is so awesome!!

Brayden is starting to want to pull himself up on things, he can get to his knees but hasn't figured out the rest yet. He is soo funny, I will be in the bathroom getting ready and Donny will be with him in the living room and he decides he misses mommy and just crawls in to see me. I love it. He is such a stinker sometimes though and he bites me. He doesn't do it to anyone else that I know of, just me!! I am sure that daycare would let us know if he is biting there. We will see how long this phase lasts!

Grandma and grandpa came up this past weekend and couldn't believe how big he is getting!! He crawled for him and clapped for them and was in a good mood the whole time they were here. He is getting easier to take places and loves to watch everyone, just don't try and hold him and everyone will get along. I took him to work for a meeting this week and one of the cardiologists told me that I have a smart boy already because he was looking around taking everything and everyone in. (Everyone was telling him how cute he was and he was smiling from ear to ear ofcourse!!) I guess it all boils down to I can't believe how fast he is growing up!!!!

This has been a big week for Brayden. He is learning to crawl all over the house. He is loving being free to go where he wants but, lucky for me, he still likes Ma,ma to hold him!!! He also started to clap. He had been doing it with one hand for a while, but I thought he was dancing and really he just couldn't figure out how to get his second hand to do the same thing at the same time. He also started saying MMMmmmmmm after every bite. He loves his real food so much and he lets us know it. He is changing so fast, we can't keep up!!! We took him shopping today and then out to lunch at Chilis. He sat in the high chair almost the whole time eating every chance he got!! Grandma Pam came with us and we all agreed he did really well!!

Mo is Brayden's new best friend. He loves him so much, he crawls for him every chance he gets and Mo welcomes it because he knows he will get some food out of it later!! Thank goodness Mo is so good with him, we are very lucky!

8 Months Old

Brayden decided that he could not turn 8 months old until he showed us how he crawled!!! He finally did it forwards, there might of been a little bribery involved but he crawled to the food, pizza that is!!!! We got it all on video and a few pictures too. I am hoping that the video uploads and everyone can watch. He was so proud of himself and tired afterwards. Although he must of been thinking about it all night because he was up from 1140pm till 230am.

This morning he crawled to me and was smiling, but ever since then he has been crawling backwards again.

Brayden has his Bears outfit on today ready for the big game. We are hoping for a Steelers vs. Bears Superbowl,so of course our team can beat Grandpa's!!!

Every time Brayden hears music he gets his little arm moving, I think they are teaching him to dance like that at daycare!! Ha, ha!!

This week Brayden decided that he would make it hard on his dad when dropping him off in the am. Brayden started separation anxiety, and when I heard I was so sad for the rest of the day. It made it so much easier on me to know that he didn't mind going. We knew it was coming, I was just trying not to think about it.

Brayden's new motto at 7.5 months is "If my mom will do I don't have too!" He now knows that if he cries we will pick him up so he has decided that he will not:

Drink out of a sippy cup

Feed himself cheerios or puffs

Crawl or move too far

He is soo cute, and I need to get over this!!! I am working on this slowly but surely. He is doing much better sleeping through the night at least! I knew it was bad when this happened:

I took Brayden to daycare last week and told them they could start giving him apple juice in a sippy cup but that I was struggling with him drinking for a sippy cup. The teacher laughed at me and said that he had been drinking from a sippy cup for 4 weeks from them!!!

He is starting to try and clap his hands and wave at times. He is going from a sitting position to a crawling position all the time and he is still scooting backwards really well!! He is able to entertain himself with his toys still which helps when we need to get other things done.

Today Brayden had to go to the doctor for his second flu vaccine. I was anxious like I have been with all shots and he did AMAZING!!! He didn't even cry!!! Afterwards we went to Target for a few things where he did his new favorite thing which is riding in the front of the carts. He can see so much and he seems to like it so far!! We will see how longs this lasts.

We have to start Brayden on some apple juice to see if it helps him poop any easier!! We are hoping so we don't have to start him on medications!! We will soon see.

Last night I got home from work, Brayden had been up for almost 4 hours, was still happy, and so much fun. I put him down on the rug in the kitchen and the next thing I knew I was watching him scoot all the way to the laundry room. He loves to move around himself and see new things. We are in for a big suprise here pretty soon!!! He still hasn't crawled but he is getting up on all fours pretty easy and rocking back and forth with a big smile on his face.

He is also doing really well on sleeping, he is sleeping from 9pm-5am sometimes later!! It is so nice to sleep again!!
